Chestnut Gilt Cream Silver 30ml
New from Chestnut Finishing Products, Silver Gilt cream for embellishing your turnings.
Traditionally used by restorers for re-gilding antiques or new work, this easy to use paste has become popular with turners looking to enhance open grained timbers by ‘ebonising’ then applying gold to the grain. Most useful timbers for this use are Ash, Oak, False Acacia, Elm and Sweet Chestnut.
