We have previously sold spalted hornbeam but this was milled fresh three years ago to yield the hard timber so often unavailable. This timber is pale cream to off-white with small grey or brown flecks and some wavy, interlocking grain. Used for the likes of wooden plane soles and cogs, this timber is perfect for turning and fine detail work.
