Robert Sorby Texturing and Spiralling Tool
Click For Bigger Image
Product Code: U310H_MST

We have all created textures and spirals unintentionally! Here's a tool that allows to you design and created these effects accurately.

This tool offers a new dimension to woodturning, enabling the exploration of a huge range of textured finishes on bowl and spindle work, an effect further enhanced by some turners with selective colouring.
With the spiralling cutters and adjustment of the built-in tool rest, spirals, chequered designs, rope effect twists and heavy patterns add a new field of decoration to boxes, goblets and spindles of all types. Graduations on tool rest ensure repeatability. The degree of off-set determines the pitch of the spiral.

The Texturing Tool is supplied with 350/0 Texturing Cutter only.

The Texturing and Spiralling Tool (shown in the image) is supplied with:
350/0 Texturing Cutter, 350/2 Cutter 2mm pitch, 350/4 Cutter 4mm pitch and 350/6 Cutter 6mm pitch and 360 Tool Rest.
The Texturing tool can be upgraded to the full Texturing and Spiralling Tool and cutters with 5mm and 11mm pitch are available as optional extras.
