The Spindle Gouge is used for details such as coves and beads on spindles.
The Parting Tool is used for cutting spigots, steps and parting cuts. The 6mm version can also be used for cutting small beads.
The Skew Chisel is used for planing flat and convex cuts on spindles and with practice, beads.
The Round Nose Scraper can be used inside bowls but is more commonly used for hollowing the likes of eggcups and goblets and cutting simple coves.
The Spindle Roughing Gouge is used for roughing square spindles to round between centres. NOT for bowl work.
The S&B Dovetail Tool will cut internal and external dovetail chuck grips on bowl and platters and external dovetail grips on spindles.
