SKEW AND SPINDLE GOUGE COURSE
A day using the skew chisel and spindle gouge to cut good clean shapes.
Start the day with some simple practice routines then choose one from a number of spindle projects to make and take home at the end of the day.
TOOL SHARPENING.
Tool sharpening can be a grey area and cause frustration, especially when you first start turning. One minute you get it right then another time you lose the shape and cannot get it back. (Been there, done that!)
During each course, we spend time on this important subject and hope you will be keen to bring along some tools for evaluation and resharpening as necessary.
